Young Voices Redux

Congratulations to Jessica Dews and Stephanie Moore, who will be representing Rudd Middle School at the annual Young Voices Festival, sponsored by the Alabama Vocal Association and held at Auburn University. You are both to be commended for your accomplishments.

Solo Auditions: "Alleluia for Our Time," "I'll Make the Difference," and "Walkin' on that Heavenly Road"

Auditions for the solos in the non-Bye Bye Birdie songs will be held on Tuesday, January 29 in class for seventh- and eighth-graders and during after-school rehearsal for sixth-graders.

Solo Auditions: Bye Bye Birdie

Auditions for the solos in the Bye Bye Birdie medley will be held on Friday, January 25 in class. Any sixth-graders wishing to audition may do so during rehearsal on Thursday, January 24. I will post the soloists outside my door and on the website after seventh period on Friday. Note that the solo in "Kids," though traditionally sung by Harry and Randolph McAffee, can be male or female in this medley.
